FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT MY HOMETOWN/COUNTRY
First and foremost, I would say the rich, diverse and vibrant culture that the Bahamas possess as such a small nation. Secondly, all of the natural beauty that our 700 islands and keys boast of - from the crystal clear aquamarine water to the colorful life that lives beneath it; the golden sunshine and the multicolored flowers and foliage, birds and wildlife its beams of light shines down upon; and the fresh crisp breeze that constantly blows upon the faces of such a strong, proud, peaceful, friendly and passionate people.

LIFE'S AMBITITIONS
My immediate ambition to be fulfilled in the very near future is to open a state-of-the-art school for the performing arts and a recording studio. The school will develop the talents of this country and open avenues while giving exposure to foster success in the arts abroad. My life's ambition is to become a successful lawyer, politician and one of the greatest Prime Minister's of change, growth and development this country has ever seen.

HOBBIES
My hobbies include singing, dancing, modeling, cooking, reading, writing songs and poetry, travelling, debating, drama, and community work.

MY GOALS IN LIFE
My goals in life are simply to do my best in all that I put my mind and heart into doing and ensuring that when this life is over, I would have fulfilled the purpose God had for me to do in my country and the world.

MY BEST ASSET IS
My best asset would have to be my smile and anyone that knows me knows that I am constantly smiling. I'm even smiling right now!

MY DAILY PHILOSOPHY IS
For a man to achieve all that is demanded of him he must regard himself as greater than he is. (Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe)

THE MOVIE (AND/OR BOOK) THAT MOST INFLUENCED MY LIFE
The book that has most influenced my life would have to be a book that I have heard read to me while I was still in my Mothers tummy. Its words echoed in my ears even before I was wise enough to read and still tugs at the strings of my heart to this day as I read it every morning when I rise and every evening before I close my eyes to sleep. This book has influenced my life giving me hope, and faith and happiness in my weakest moments. It is a book called the BIBLE written by 40 great Prophets who were inspired and ordained by the greatest Author of all times God.

WHO I WOULD LIKE TO MEET AND WHY
With all the change that has happened in the world this year I would love to meet President Barack Obama. I know it seems a bit cliché but I believe that he and I are very similar. He broke the mold and became the first African American President of the United States of America, and I to wish to someday break the mold here in the Bahamas and become the first female Prime Minister. If I had a chance to meet him I would love to hear about all the work he did to prepare himself for the path he chose and learn about the road to fulfilling his dream - all the bumps and bruises he may have come across along the way. I believe that if I had a chance to meet such a visionary leader I would definitely learn from his mistakes and failures and borrow from his motivation and stories of success to increase my chances or achieving such an auspicious title as he has and make my own mark on the world.

I AM MOTIVATED BY
I have simply refused to become another statistic of teen pregnancy, drug abuse, alcoholism, promiscuity, and peer pressure. Instead I have chosen to work hard in school, on my job and in my community at large to be an inspiration to hopeless boys and girls, men and women who have fallen prey to the pressures of the world. Therefore, it is safe to say I am motivated by my own will to excel and succeed along with the hope that others will be inspired to join me, subsequently causing my beautiful country to further excel and succeed! For the wealth and success of a nation is up to the strength and stability of its people!

WHAT I WOULD LIKE THE JUDGES TO KNOW ABOUT ME IS
It is safe to say that certain qualities are expected to be held by a queen, and Miss Bahamas World should be someone who is passionate, confident, graceful, well poised, dignified, possesses a strong sense of self worth, high moral standards, yet still possessing the common touch needed to be an example to women both young and old. She should be someone who is intelligent, encouraging this generation and those to come to strive for academic success and excellence and finally she should also be a Beauty with a Purpose. I would like to affirm to the judges that I am a young woman in possession of all of these qualities and more, and assure each one of them that I know that I am fit to hold such an auspicious title. I would also like the judges to know that if I were chosen the next Miss Bahamas World I would remain true to God, myself and my fellow Bahamians, representing each one with humility and pride with the official Miss Bahamas World sash across my chest and crown upon my head. Finally, I would like the judges to know that this is more than just a pageant to me and a mere sign of beauty but this is an opportunity for me to show young women that it is ok to be beautiful inside and out while still being purpose driven young leaders and ambassador for your country.
