| The contestants showed off their brain power during an exciting challenge at Diamonds International. The ladies were split into three teams, and each group was required to brainstorm to come up with an innovative marketing campaign to promote Diamonds International's Crown of Light jewelry. They then presented their ideas to a panel of three Diamonds International executives, led by Marketing Manager Anthony Smith. The ladies were all impressive, but it was the team made up of Devera Pinder, Channa Cius, Llatetra Laing, and McChenier Johnson who impressed the panel most and won the challenge. For their efforts, the ladies were rewarded with diamond jewelry! The challenge is chronicled in episode four of this season's Backstage Pass which airs on ZNS on Monday May 25th at 8 p.m., Friday May 29th at 8:30 p.m., and Sunday May 31st at 3:30 p.m. |

| Finally, the moment had come to determine the first fast track winner in this year's pageant. One by one, the three finalists were required to go through the obstacle course again, with the promise that the young lady who completed the course the fastest would become the overall winner. After a coin toss, it was determined that Gabrielle Major would go first. She gave it a valiant effort but began to fade near the end of the course, completing it in a time of 2:32. Next to go was McChenier Johnson who proved to be a strong competitor in earlier rounds. She seemed to have an easier time clearing the course, finishing with a time of 2:25 to move into first place. As the final competitor, Michaela Ferguson knew the time she had to beat. She pushed herself seemingly beyond her limits, edging Miss Johnson out with a time of 2:22 to become the first semi finalist in the 2009 Miss Bahamas World pageant. |

| The ladies of the Red Team then had to face each other in three exercise routines which served as the elimination process. The first eliminator was push-ups - the hard way - and the ladies were instructed to do as many as they could without stopping. One by one they faltered, leaving Michaela Ferguson as the winner of that round, and putting her into the finals of the Sportswoman challenge. The remaining ladies then competed in sit-ups - an exercise they appeared to be good at, for this round lasted quite a long time. The final two ladies in the round - McChenier Johnson and Kendra Wilkinson - were determined not to falter, but eventually Miss Johnson out lasted Miss Wilkinson to become the second contestant to enter the finals. The final and perhaps toughest eliminator was the military star jump. The remaining contestants gave it their all, but it was Gabrielle Major who was able to successfully complete the most jumps. The three finalists were given a breather while the ladies of the Royal Bahamas Police Force and the Royal Bahamas Defense Force tackled the course. The Defence Force ladies took an early lead and never looked back, defeating the Police women in resounding fashion to become the first Miss Bahamas World Sportswomen winners. They were awarded a beautiful floating trophy by Miss Bahamas World Tinnyse Johnson. |

| Three seconds. That is all that separated the victor of the first ever Miss Bahamas World Sportswoman Challenge from her nearest rival. It was a grueling test of fitness and endurance but when it was all said and done, Miss Bella Donna Michaela Ferguson emerged the winner, guaranteeing her a Top 10 placement in this year's pageant. The contest began with the 13 Earth Angels being split into two groups - the Red Team, and the Green Team. The Green Team was joined by Miss Bahamas World 2008 Tinnyse Johnson so that each team would be evenly matched with 7 competitors. Their task was to clear a challenging eight-obstacle course twice - the handy work of Lieutenant Ricardo Barry of the Royal Bahamas Defense Force - in the fastest time. The Red Team, made up of Kendra Wilkinson, McChenier Johnson, Llatetra Laing, Emily Darville, Michaela Ferguson, Devera Pinder, and Gabrielle Major won the challenge.
