| Tinnyse departs for Johannesburg, South Africa where she will spend a month competing in the 2008 Miss World Beauty Pageant! She takes with her the well wishes of the Bahamian people who are hopeful that she will end the country's 16 year drought at Miss World. The last Bahamian woman to advance to the final round in Miss World was Jody Weech in 1992. Tinnyse will arrive at Miss World as one of the early favorites for the title and she will be ready to compete wearing the creations of 15 designers from five countries. Special thanks to all who have contributed in any way to her trip.

| Miss Bahamas World appears as a model in the Islands of the World Fashion Week! Tinnyse worked the catwalk for designers such as Kevan Hall, Claudia Pegus, Jennie McWeeny, Lisa Humes, Apryl Weech and more! During the week, she was also interviewed by journalists for New York's Carib News Week newspaper and Bangamary magazine, which is set to hit the news stands in January 2009. Tinnyse was also one of a select group of models chosen to appear in the Islands of the World Fashion Week official program. |

| Tinnyse officially launched her Beauty With a Purpose project with a High Tea party and fashion show. The event, which was co sponsored by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism's People to People unit, attracted visitors, business and professional women, and close to 100 junior and senior high school students who are participating in the project. Tinnyse is encouraging business and professional women throughout the country to mentor these young women. The event was designed to introduce the young ladies to their mentors, while raising money for a scholarship endowment at the College of the Bahamas for young women in need. Tinnyse was joined by her runners up Miss Bahamas Tourism Queen Tiara Cooper and Top Model Bahamas/Miss Bahamas Beauty of the World Chrystal Bethel who helped to display her wardrobe. Also joining them were Miss Bahamas World 2006 Deandrea Conliffe, several former Miss Bahamas World contestants and Miss Teen Bahamas World Top 5 finalist Janae Knowles. |

| Tinnyse recorded a television ad for ArtOvation - a new campaign featuring prominent Bahamian artists from various disciplines. Under the theme "We want you to support your own", the ad campaign will be used to create awareness of the various arts industries and present a unified front. The idea behind the video is to get more support for the country's young artists, and more respect from local communities. Tinnyse will be one of several Bahamian celebrities to appear in the video. |

| Tinnyse was on hand as the staff and management of Diamonds International presented a check in the amount of $5000.00 to NEMA to aid in relief efforts in Inagua after the passing of hurricane Ike. Diamonds International General Manager Mr. Kaniel, who himself experienced great loss when Hurricane Wilma ravaged Cozumel, Mexico, said that after seeing the enthusiasm of the staff and the desire they had to give back to the country he was touched. He stated that the unity of Bahamians in troubled times says a lot about the Bahamas at large, and that's just one more reason why he is happy to be a part of the Diamonds International Bahamas family. The staff also plans to make donations to the Turks and Caicos Island, and Haiti in the coming months. |

| Tinnyse was a special guest at the H. O.. Nash Junior High School's Academics Awards and Motivation Assembly. The event was held to recognize students who excelled during the summer semester, honor roll students, and those whose GPA improved in the Xmas Term. Students with outstanding results in the BJC and students are excelling in optional subjects like art and music were also recognized. Tinnyse gave the students a brief pep talk before displaying her talent as a singer. |

She joined members of the Bahamas National Youth Council and The Crisis Center of the Bahamas for the event, which commemorated the United Nations International Day of Peace. Tinnyse and other guests like recording artist Landlord sang songs, while others danced. They spoke to the students about conflict resolution and promoting peace in their everyday lives. |

| Tinnyse meets the reigning Miss Earth! While in Puerto Rico for a few days, Canada's Jessica Trisko and Miss Bahamas World spent an afternoon together. The ladies got to visit some of Puerto Rico's attractions, including Los Hermanos Ayala House in Loiza where colorful costumes are made for an annual festival. Each July, a 10 day festival is held to commemorate the victory of St James, the patron saint. During the festival the ‘Vejigantes' dress up in costumes and use the masks made of coconuts that are still made and sold in Loiza. The ladies visited the store of Raul Ayala, a member of the musical group Los Hermanos Ayala and a master artisan of vejigantes.
They also visited the home and studio of Samuel Lind, the Puerto Rican artist most identified with the Afro-Caribbean cultural trends of his home town Loiza. Lind has produced a great number of works celebrating dance, carnival and other aspects of Puerto Rican experience. His work is on display in his studio and in museums and homes throughout Puerto Rico.

| Tinnyse enjoyed a piragua - a frozen Puerto Rican treat - before her next stop, the Hogar del Buen Pastor (Home of the Good Shephard) for the Homeless. The Home has created an innovative method for the rehabilitation of the homeless which begins with detoxification and the development of life skills. The home offers job training, guidance in securing permanent employment and living facilities. The home also offers a follow-up plan designed to help former residents with their transition to independent living. While visiting the facility, Tinnyse met several residents before pitching to help prepare them a meal. |

| Following her visit to Bacardi, Tinnyse spent the afternoon sightseeing. One of her stops was the Fort San Felipe Del Morro. El Morro, officially known as Fuerte San Felipe del Morro, sits atop a high promontory overlooking the entrance to San Juan Bay. It is the result of the efforts of many different Spanish engineers over a period of more than 200 years and is one of the largest forts built by the Spaniards in the Caribbean. El Morro is both a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a National Historic Site in the U. S. National Park Service. From El Morro, she walked a short distance to the Cuartel de Ballaja or Ballaja Barracks which housed Spanish troops during the 1800s, and later was the quarters for American soldiers following the Spanish-American War. Tinnyse also visited La Fortaleza, (The Fortress) - the current official residence of the Governor of Puerto Rico. It was built between 1533 and 1540 to defend the harbor of San Juan. It is the oldest executive mansion in the New World and was listed by UNESCO in 1983 as a World Heritage Site. |

While attending the launch of the Bacardi store in Nassau, she met the President of Bacardi's Puerto Rico operation Mr. Joaquin Bacardi who invited her to visit the facility during her time in the enchanted isle. For three consecutive days the Puerto Rico convention center housed more than 40 fine dining restaurants and 300 brands of wines, attracting visitors in the thousands who came to enjoy, taste, and sample. Recognized Chefs of the Food Network, Discovery Channel, as well as the winner of the 2006 edition of the program Top Chef were at the Fest offering the public enjoyable tastes of their culinary talent. Tinnyse, whose hobby is cooking, was in her element as she met a number of celebrities chefs, and also appeared on Puerto Rican television. |
