What was your childhood like?
I always had dreams of doing something great and because of that I developed an unquenchable passion for music and the arts, with the help of my grandmother the late Kayla Lockhart Edwards. I spent so much time with, I used to be called her “shadow”. I was always in plays and productions and when I wasn’t doing that I was travelling the world with my mom.
Something unusual about yourself?
I come from a family of Bahamian icons – Kayla Lockhart Edwards, musician and political activist Edmund Moxey, and Harlem Globetrotter Osbourne Lockhart are all my relatives.
A proud moment in your life?
The night I produced and starred in the first play I’d ever written entitled “The Great Bahamia”.
I’m a member of an up-and-coming girl group called The Orig.
