For an evening of elegance and sophistication, join us at The Balmoral Club for the Evening Gown competition. Contestants will model gowns of their choice for a chance to impress the judges. Evening gown accounts for 25% of their scores to advance to the semi final round. Contestants will also present their Beauty with a Purpose projects. The winner of the Myles Munroe Beauty with a Purpose award takes home a $2500 scholarship.
It’s an important double header! Compass Point Beach Resort will be the site of the 2019 Miss World Bahamas Swimsuit Competition, brought to you by the Flying Dutchman. Swimsuit accounts for 25% of the contestants scores to advance to the semi finals, so there’s a lot riding on this one. And then, the Commonwealth Fabrics Top Model competition will put the contestants runway skills to the test. The winner of the Top Model competition will receive a special award.
Colorful cultural costumes will be on display as the contestants compete in the National Costume Competition. The winner receives a special award. The event will be held at The Rooftop at The Pointe, #2 Fort Nassau, One Bay Street. The costume competition is always a fun event as contestants get to let their hair down and display their creativity in fabulous costumes created by Bahamian designers.
Pageant fans will get their first opportunity to meet the contestants up close and personal during the launch of the 2019 Miss World Bahamas pageant and Road to the Crown viewing party. Attendees will get a sneak peak at the first episode of the season prior to its airing on REV TV on April 30. The event will be held at Seven at The Pointe on One Bay Street, Park Avenue. Doors open at 5 p.m.
