The Miss World Bahamas Evening Gown Competition and Beauty with a Purpose presentations were held on Saturday past, and the contestants were simply stunning wearing gowns of their choice in the always elegant round of the competition.  One by one, each lady showed her personal style with flawless presentations from head to toe.  The capacity crowd on hand at the Balmoral Club to witness the event was not disappointed, and seemed to have a competition of its own going to see who could cheer for their favorites the loudest.

In the evening gown competition, contestants were required to display elegance, poise and a sense of style. Emphasis was placed on the candidate's runway or catwalk skills. It's important to note that the contestants were not judged on their choice of gown, but rather on elegance, poise and runway skills.

At the end of the evening, the Top 3 were revealed to be Miss Balmoral Island Chinasa Outten, Miss Andros Angel Culmer and Miss Long Island Angel Cartwright.  The winner will be announced during the Miss World Bahamas finale on May 27.

Following the Evening Gown competition, each contestant presented her Beauty with a Purpose project to the audience.  The delegates were interviewed by Kyle Walkine about their chosen platforms, and what they would do to promote it should they become the next Miss World Bahamas.  The Beauty with a Purpose videos will be reviewed by the final panel of judges who will determine the winner.  The winner of the Myles Munroe Beauty with a Purpose award will receive a $2500 academic scholarship.  She will also be revealed on May 27.
